Privacy Crime Scene Report: Turn Any Shady Site Into Evidence

FilterCookiee's next flagship feature turns any website into a shareable Privacy Crime Scene Report — trackers, insecure cookies, fingerprinting attempts and a trust score you can send to anyone.

Update live: we''re building the Privacy Crime Scene Report — a one-click way to turn any shady website into a shareable report of exactly what it did to you.

What is the Privacy Crime Scene Report?

Today FilterCookiee tells you what a site is doing. The Crime Scene Report lets you tell everyone else. Visit a site, hit one button, and FilterCookiee assembles the evidence into a clean, shareable page:

  • Trackers caught in the act — who loaded, from which ad and analytics networks.
  • Insecure cookies — cookies missing Secure, HttpOnly or SameSite protection.
  • Fingerprinting attempts — canvas, font, and device probes that identify you without cookies.
  • Permission grabs — microphone, camera, location or clipboard requests fired on page load.
  • A trust score out of 100, with a plain-English verdict.

Sample verdict

28/100 — Data Vacuum

That''s the kind of score you''ll be able to screenshot, link, and post.

Why it matters

Privacy complaints usually die at "trust me, that site is sketchy." Evidence changes that. A shareable report gives you something concrete to send to a friend, a client, a journalist, or a company''s support inbox — and it makes bad behaviour costly in the one currency websites care about: reputation.

It also helps you make faster decisions. Instead of reading a 40-page policy, you glance at a score and a list of findings, then decide whether to block, clear, or leave.

How it will work

  1. Browse to any site with FilterCookiee installed.
  2. Open the popup and hit Generate report.
  3. FilterCookiee compiles everything it observed on that page into a report.
  4. Copy the link and share the evidence.

As always, the scan runs on-device. Nothing about your browsing is collected by us — a report is only created when you explicitly ask for one.

FAQ

When is the Privacy Crime Scene Report launching?

It''s in active development as our next flagship feature. Follow @Filtercookiee on X for the launch date and early access.

Will it cost anything?

The core FilterCookiee extension stays free. Report generation will be available to all users at launch.

Does sharing a report expose my own data?

No. A report describes what the website did — its trackers, cookies and permission requests — not your browsing history, accounts, or personal information.

Can I use it on any browser?

It ships with the Chrome extension, which works in Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc and other Chromium browsers.
